Would you describe the project that they worked on and what their strengths were?
We first contracted with Keenan Building and Remodeling (KBR) 13 years ago when we turned our three-bedroom into a four-bedroom home by adding a new master bedroom/ensuite bathroom. Therefore, when we decided to remodel our 35-year-old kitchen last year, there was no question in our mind who we would hire for the job.
We were looking to redesign our kitchen space but had no idea if what we were envisioning would even be possible as we wanted to turn 3 rooms into one master kitchen with an open concept and minimal upper cabinets with a wall of windows to let in natural light. We met with Bill & Tina and together they turned our ideas into our new reality. Bill’s expertise as a master contractor really came into play when we had to customize cabinetry around existing pipework. With so many choices of patterns, colors, and styles for everything from hardwood to countertops, lighting to cabinet hardware, Tina’s eye for design was an invaluable part of this project. Her advice was often solicited but never unwanted or forced upon. Tina listened to what we wanted, took into account the tastes and style of our existing home, and created a newly updated space that truly is magnificent.
The communication between KBR and the clients was excellent. Daily/weekly updates were provided throughout the entire process via text, in-person conversations, and email. Billing was seamless also. The contract part of the process was detailed and left little to no questions. The project operated as it was supposed to and things were delivered on time and on budget.
Bill and/or Tina were onsight throughout the entire process. With many subcontractors on hand, people were coming and going throughout the entire process. KBR managed all the subcontractors and was always on hand inspecting the work and ensuring everything was done to perfection. Bill was the first one on the job site every morning and the last one to leave.
Having your home undergo major construction is NOT an easy task - it is loud and disruptive. KBR managed our expectations, answered any questions we had, and offered suggestions based on years of experience to help minimize any/all inconveniences of living without a kitchen and a great deal of first-floor living space. It was exciting to see all the changes every day when coming home from work. There was never a mess or anything to clean up. The work site was kept very clean throughout the entire project. Sheeting was hung to prevent other areas of our home from getting dirty. All workers were polite and respectful of our living space and we were able to come and go easily without any concerns. Their work is unsurpassed and it is without hesitation that we would recommend KBR for any home remodeling project.

KBR provided a number of services for me. They remodeled two bathrooms. The upstairs main bath and the master bath along with redoing a utility room which had severe water damage on the ceiling and walls. They did an amazing job on all three areas. There strengths are sticking to the agreed to schedule; Tina's Design capabilities along with her understanding of keeping within the established budget and the meticulous work that they do. They kept us involved along the way and made sure that we were completely satisfied with their work. In a word they are awesome. I would without hesitation give them a 5. I have recommended them to others already.

We hired KBR to build an addition on our previous house, and because of that experience, we hired them to build an addition to our "new" home this year. For our first addition, Bill added on 3 bedrooms, a master bathroom, a garage, and a workshop. He also upgraded our HVAC systems, replaced the roof, and replaced the driveway. Bill has never been late to an appointment with us, has never left anyone unsupervised, and is always honest with us when it comes to prices. He would come in before any of his subs in the morning and put down drop cloths where they would be working. Bill would meet with me almost every morning to discuss the work he was going to do that day and what I could expect. We recently moved and decided we needed to add on to our new house, so we went straight to Bill! Bill has helped us through the planning process by providing us with an architect and submitting the plans to the town. We have also met with Tina (Bill's wife) to start the design process for our kitchen.
